Forum Rules

Our community guidelines to keep the forum welcoming, safe, and enjoyable for everyone

General Conduct

How we treat each other in the community

1

Be respectful and courteous

Treat every member with dignity. Harassment, hate speech, threats, and personal attacks are strictly prohibited. Disagree with ideas, not people.

2

No inflammatory or disruptive behavior

Trolling, flamebaiting, deliberately derailing threads, or inciting arguments is not allowed. Keep discussions constructive and productive.

3

Respect moderator decisions

Moderators work to keep the community safe. If you disagree with a decision, appeal it through the proper channels — do not argue publicly in threads.

4

No witch-hunting or public shaming

Do not encourage others to target, harass, or shame individuals or groups. Use the report system to bring issues to moderator attention.

Content Guidelines

What you can and cannot post on the forum

1

Stay on topic

Keep your posts relevant to the category or thread they belong to. Off-topic content may be moved or removed at moderator discretion.

2

No spam or self-promotion

Do not post unsolicited advertisements, referral links, or repetitive content. Promotional content belongs in designated areas only.

3

No illegal or infringing content

Do not share copyrighted material without permission, or content that violates any applicable laws. This includes pirated software, media, and links to such material.

4

Mark NSFW content appropriately

Mature or sensitive content must be clearly labeled and placed in the appropriate restricted category. Explicit or pornographic material is not permitted.

5

Search before posting

Avoid duplicate topics. Use the search feature to check if your question or discussion already exists before creating a new thread.

Privacy & Safety

Protecting yourself and others online

1

Do not share personal information

Never post your own or another person's private information — including real name, address, phone number, email, or financial details. This is known as doxxing and is strictly forbidden.

2

No impersonation

Do not impersonate forum staff, other members, or public figures. Misleading others by pretending to be someone else will result in an immediate ban.

3

Keep private conversations private

Do not share screenshots or logs of private messages or moderator communications without explicit consent from all involved parties.

4

Report security concerns

If you discover a security vulnerability or suspect a compromised account, contact the moderation team immediately rather than posting about it publicly.

Account Rules

Managing your account responsibly

1

One account per person

Creating multiple accounts (sockpuppeting) to evade bans, manipulate voting, or support your own arguments is prohibited. All alternate accounts will be suspended.

2

Use appropriate usernames and avatars

Usernames and profile pictures must not contain offensive, vulgar, or misleading content. Staff reserve the right to request changes or rename accounts.

3

Keep your account secure

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Use a strong password, enable two-factor authentication, and never share your login credentials.

4

No account trading or selling

Accounts are non-transferable. Buying, selling, or trading accounts is not permitted and may result in permanent suspension of all involved accounts.

Moderation

Warnings, bans, and the appeals process

1

Warning system

Minor infractions result in a formal warning. Accumulating multiple warnings may lead to temporary suspension. Warnings expire after 90 days of good standing.

2

Temporary and permanent bans

Serious or repeated violations result in temporary suspension (1–30 days). Severe offenses such as illegal content, harassment, or ban evasion lead to permanent removal.

3

Appeals process

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal through the contact form or by emailing appeals@forumhub.com. Appeals are reviewed within 72 hours.

4

Staff discretion

Moderators and administrators reserve the right to take appropriate action on any behavior not explicitly covered by these rules. All decisions are final, subject to appeal.

Rule Violations

Violating any of the above rules may result in moderation action including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community. The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. We encourage all members to read and understand these rules before participating.
